World Awards for African Imagery ends 30 April 2026

Deadline: 30 April 2026. Africa is a continent of light, life, and extraordinary stories.
From vast savannas and dramatic landscapes to powerful wildlife encounters and vibrant cultural traditions, it remains one of the most inspiring places on Earth for photographers.

The 2026 World Awards for African Imagery is an international photography competition dedicated to celebrating the beauty, diversity, and spirit of Africa through compelling visual storytelling. Following the success of its inaugural edition, the Second Edition is now officially open for submissions.

Organized by the North America Photography Association (NAPA) and the World Cultural Arts Organization (UNWCAO), the competition invites photographers from around the world to share powerful images that capture the many dimensions of Africa.

Whether it is a breathtaking landscape, an intimate human moment, or a rare wildlife encounter, every photograph has the power to shape how the world sees Africa.

If you have captured Africa through your lens, this is your moment to share it with the world.
