Dodho Magazine #37 ends 31 May 2026
Deadline: 31 May 2026. Dodho Magazine launches a new international call for entries for its upcoming print edition, reinforcing over 11 years of continuous presence as a reference platform in contemporary photography.
This edition does not follow the traditional logic of a magazine. It is conceived as an artistic and curatorial volume designed to endure over time and to place each project within the context it deserves. Its physical format allows the work to travel, circulate, and be discovered in the environments where it truly matters: galleries, festivals, museums, and professional spaces where new voices are actively sought.
Each edition reaches curators, editors, gallery directors, and cultural programmers who are constantly seeking both emerging and established photographers. Being selected means entering their radar, opening doors that rarely open on their own within the digital environment.
Since its foundation, Dodho has produced 36 print editions, presenting the work of 216 photographers from 32 countries across five continents. This sustained editorial activity has generated thousands of printed copies in circulation and more than 20 million digital views, positioning each selected project within a broad international context.
Participating in this call goes beyond publication. It means becoming part of an editorial ecosystem where the work is contextualized, distributed, and connected with key industry agents. 80 percent of photographers featured in the print edition return for future collaborations, demonstrating the long-term impact and continuity of the platform.
The selection will be carried out by an international jury composed of professionals working at the forefront of contemporary photography, including Holly Hart, Marcel Kollen, Frank Meo, and Paris Chong.
Dodho is looking for photographers with a strong vision and a distinctive voice capable of contributing to the current visual conversation. The selection is not based solely on aesthetic quality, but on the ability of the work to engage meaningfully with the present.
Prizes:
Selected photographers will be included in the upcoming print edition of Dodho Magazine, receiving:
Publication in a curated volume with international distribution.
Circulation across professional networks including galleries, festivals, museums, and institutions.
Exposure to curators, editors, and industry professionals.
Long-term editorial positioning and sustained visibility.
