Women in Photography ends 28 December 2022


Deadline: 28 December 2022. The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running a month long exhibition in March called Women in Photography. March 8th is international Women’s Day and to celebrate this we are going to have an exhibition that showcases the work of women photographers from across the globe. This exhibition will be an open theme, so any form of photography is acceptable, but if you can looking for something to help focus your photography for this exhibition the theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is Embrace Equity.

The Women in Photography exhibition is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images of any genre of photography. This exhibition is only open to women in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed for a month long exhibition.
Work will appear online in our online gallery on our website.

We want you to send your best images. We want work from both emerging and established photographers. You do not need to be a professional photographer to participate as we believe that photography is for everyone.

Prizes:

Those selected will have their work printed, framed and hung in the Glasgow Gallery of Photography for 1 month.
All those selected will also have their work and information displayed in an online gallery on the Glasgow Gallery of Photography’s website.
The work will also be shown on our social media accounts.
All of those selected to take part will be put forward to be in with a chance to be named photographer of the month by the Glasgow Gallery of Photography.
