World Water Day Photo Contest ends 26 February 2024

Deadline: 26 February 2024. Lions International Seregno AID is proud to announce the eighth edition of the World Water Day Photo Contest. The theme for the 2023/2024 campaign is LEVERAGING WATER FOR PEACE | ACQUA LEVA DI PACE.

The photography contest is organized in collaboration with the United Nations (UN-Water) and is sponsored by the European Community to celebrate World Water Day. The proceeds collected will be allocated to co-finance a humanitarian water project for communities in need of water for life through an ongoing international tender. Funds raised from previous editions have supported the implementation of two services, one in Burkina Faso and one in Sierra Leone.

The contest is open to all photography enthusiasts and features three categories:

SINGLE PHOTOS WITH THE THEME WATER ENVIRONMENT
SINGLE PHOTOS WITH THE THEME AQUATIC LANDSCAPES
STORYTELLING WITH THE THEME WATER STORIES

The international jury consists of 12 esteemed professionals in the field, and the prize pool amounts to over 5,000 euros, including participation in a traveling exhibition.
