Deadline: 15 November 2025. Black & White Photography Open Call 2025 at Grid Photo Gallery invites image-makers everywhere to explore the timeless strength of monochrome. When color falls away, form, light, and emotion take the lead—whether you’re drawn to crisp contrasts, velvety midtones, or the quiet poetry of grain. Show us portraits, street scenes, abstractions, architectures, landscapes, or moments in between—so long as the story lives in black and white.

This call celebrates the discipline’s clarity and depth: how a fleeting gesture, a weathered surface, or a dramatic silhouette can turn the ordinary into something iconic. We welcome diverse approaches and techniques—from classic film to digital minimalism—provided the work engages with tone, shape, and light in ways that resonate.

Selected photographs will appear in a global online exhibition launching December 1, 2025. The top three images will move forward for consideration toward “Photography of the Year,” and chosen works will be included in a printed catalog available for purchase. Submissions are open now; the deadline to enter is November 15, 2025. Entry fee: €7 per image, with no limit to the number of submissions.
