Deadline: 21 September 2026. We’re excited to announce our Photo of the Season Photography Contest!

The Image Flow has conducted our annual Photo of the Month Photography Competition for three years, and we are happy to announce an update. Photo of the Season Photography Competition has exciting new prizes and the benefit of additional time to submit. We challenge you to respond to our new prompts with thought-provoking submissions every season. We look forward to seeing your best work!

The Image Flow will evaluate each submission on composition, color, contrast, and overall quality when making the selections. In addition to technical components, we will also consider subject interest, point of view, and whether the image tells a story.

Under the seasonal theme of You Can’t Be Serious, the competition is open to photographers globally.

For Photo of the Season: Summer – the theme is “You Can’t Be Serious.”

We want to see photos that embrace the off-kilter. This summer, unique styles, questionable decisions, and conflicting emotions are welcome. Show us images that highlight unusual choices with subjects that stand out from the crowd.

Prizes:

1st place – $150 cash prize
2nd place – $100 cash prize
3rd place – $50 cash prize
2 Honorable Mentions

All winners and honorable mentions are featured in our newsletter, website, and social media.
Selected images from all four seasons will be showcased in a group exhibition at The Image Flow in 2027.
