Design it! Join in with the 3rd Reclaim Award and showcase your art to the public — on a large surface. 18/1 billboards become your exhibition space for 10 days.
Replace advertising with your art and redesign public outdoor space. Advertising out — Art in!

In addition, exhibit excerpts from your portfolio at our festival event. We give you space to display small-format works, posters, books and cards. Become a part of the supporting program and get connected with other artists, curators and all who are interested in art. (Regulations and capacities to be determined by Covid-19 restrictions)
The Reclaim Collective, in partnership with this year’s jury, will be able to get about 44 artists onto 44 billboards during a big group show for 10 days in 2021. 44 billboards marked on a digital map and listed in an audio guide. All further information regarding the Award will be provided on a map, which will help you and the audience navigate seamlessly through the outdoor exhibition. 44 pieces of art. Completely free to the public!

This years Reclaim Award will be curated by:

Simone Klein, photography specialist and consultant based in Paris and Cologne
Anja Knoess, Proprietor, Gallery Anja Knoess, Cologne
Prof. Mischa Kuball, Concept artist and professor for public art at the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne
Thomas Seelig, head of the collection for photography at the Museum Folkwang in Essen
Dr. Miriam Szwast, Curator for the photography collection at the Museum Ludwig, Cologne

Prizes:

The winners will exhibit their works in the form of 18/1 posters on billboards rented in a central location, for the duration of 10 days. Artists from all fields and all countries are welcome to participate in the competition.
