XIII Contest Educating the Eye ends 28 June 2026

Deadline: 28 June 2026. Educating the Eye is an international contest of photographic projects, suitable for all levels. We’ve had participants from more than 40 countries in previous editions! The theme of each project is free of choice. Photos must have been taken with any device that has a camera. Creativity and expressive capacity will be valued mainly. A total of €5,000 in prizes will be awarded, distributed among the 5 winning projects. In addition, there will be an exhibition with the winning and finalist projects.

The Photographic Association Educating the Eye, with the support of the Municipality of Castell d’Aro, Platja d’Aro & s’Agaró (Spain), is running a new edition of this renown international contest.

With free entry and a total of 5.000 Euros in prizes, its goal is to stimulate and reward photographic projects of national and international authors who are able to surprise, excite and move with their own vision of the world around them.

Prizes:

• First prize 2.000 €
• Second prize 1.000 €
• Third prize 500 €
• Prize young author (under 35 years) 750€
• Local prize Albert Busquets 750 € (in photographic material)
